CMS, OEC celebrated its Annual Day on 4th June, 2010 at Hotel “The Presidency”, Bhubaneswar under the Chairmanship of Mr. K.K. Patnaik, President, G.B.. Prof. Dr. J.K. Satapathy, Vice Chancellor, BPUT, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, who released the Voice of CMSians and advised that for strengthening the fundamental of the students, the role of the teachers is vital and a teacher can only be effective, if he/she is able to explain the students the new ideas and innovations. Dr. Mayadhar Satpathy, Director Curriculum Development, BPUT, as Guest of Honour, gave an elaborate presentation on Students all round development based on Duty, Discipline, Discrimination, Determination and Devotion. Mr. K.K. Patnaik, President, GB wished the CMS family good luck as CMS has been able to provide maximum employment opportunities to its students through campus selection.On 16th September, 2010, the Orientation Programme for the fresh MBA students (2010-12 Batch) was organized in the Institute while Mr. Soumya Prakash Patnaik, Member, GB, CMS and Director (Training & Placement) said that today the MBA students required qualities like smartness, good communication skill to face the competitive world. Mrs. Suprita Patnaik, Trustee of NCT-cum-Registrar and A.O. advised students that ““Karma Hi Shrestha Satya”.Celebration of 10th Foundation Day of CMS was observed in its campus under the Chairmanship of Mr. K.K. Patnaik, President, G.B. on 1st October, 2010. CMS has talented faculty members to take care of the students. Mr. Binod Bihari Choudhury, Vice President and Branch Head of AXIS Bank, Chief Guest focused on the Management Mantra of success and added that today not only Intelligent Quotient (IQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ) are required, but also Inspirational Quotient is also required for all. Mishra, Principal and he also received India’s most coveted Institutional and Globally reputed presentation of “Rashtriya Gaurav Award” during December, 2010.Mr. Hrushikesh Tripathy, Collector & District Magistrate, Khurda accelerated the HIV/AIDS Awareness Orientation Programme in CMS premises on 7th December, 2010 and graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Dr. Mangala Prasad Mohanty, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Tripati Mishra, Joint Director (IEC), Orissa State AIDS Control Society, Mr. Soumya Prakash Patnaik, Member., G.B. and Director (Training & Placement), as Guest of Honour co-ordinated the awareness programme.Dr. S.P. Mishra, Principal, CMS participated in the Higher Education, Task Force, “Consultative Workshop on Management Studies”, organized by XIMB and also interacted with eminent resource person and Educational Entrepreneurship of the state.
